Cleaning of Unit

I acknowledge that all carpets must be professionally cleaned before my move-out date, and a receipt confirming the cleaning must be emailed or delivered to the Platinum Property Leasing office no later than 24 hours after move-out. If I choose not to arrange the cleaning myself, Platinum Property Leasing will coordinate the service after move-out with no additional penalty, and the cost will be deducted from my deposit return. (a receipt will be provided).(Required)

I will be emailed my move out check list. I understand that all items that were provided to me at move in (Keys, garage openers, smoke/CO2 alarms, management sign, etc) must be returned in working condition at move out. If I don’t receive my move out check list in my email, I can stop by Platinum Property Leasing and pick up a list.

NOTICE OF ABANDOMENT OF RIGHTS OF TENANCY REGARDING AND ABANDONMENT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY

1. PARTIES & PROPERTY IDENTIFIED This is in regards to the landlord, tenant and property mentioned on page 1. 2. BACKGROUND A. Landlord is owner/property manager of the real estate described in the caption. B. Tenant has been leasing the real estate described in the caption. C. Tenant desires to abandon the tenancy and the personal property remaining at the real estate. D. Tenant agrees and gives notice that as of the date this instrument is signed, the Lease and all rights of occupancy and all other benefits and privileges have been abandoned. E. Tenant agrees that Tenant has fully vacated the property. F. Tenant agrees that any personal property remaining at the premises is the property of Landlord and/or has been abandoned by Tenant. 3. CONSIDERATION. This Instrument is executed for good and valuable consideration the receipt and sufficiency of which are acknowledged. 4. ABANDONMENT. Tenant provides Notice that (a) the Lease has been abandoned by Tenant, (b) Tenant is no longer in possession, (c) Tenant has removed all of his/her personal property and makes no claim to any personal property remaining at the premises, (d) Landlord owes no further obligation to Tenant. 5. CONSTRUCTION. This Instrument shall be construed as broadly as possible. 6. GOVERNING LAW. This Instrument shall be governed by the laws of Iowa. 7. CAPTIONS. Captions are for convenience and shall not affect interpretation. 8. BINDING EFFECT. This instrument applies to, is binding upon, and inures to the benefit of the successors and assigns of the parties. 9. EXECUTION. A signature which has been photocopied or a signature sent by facsimile or a signature which has been scanned and sent electronically shall have the same force and effect as an original signature.
